The Harvest Festival

Since October 1996, the harvest has been in the spotlight in the town of Banyuls sur Mer. In 20 years of existence, this festival has evolved into an authentic, popular and convivial event highlighting the know-how of the winegrowers in the region. Wine tastings and entertainment will punctuate this festive weekend.

Festa Major

Every last Sunday in August, come and attend the Village Festival, the Banyuls sur Mer Festival. Carriage races, parades, concerts and a summer carnival will be on the program. A fireworks display is also fired for the occasion. Discover a city in celebration!

The Catalan Festival

At the beginning of July, take part in the Catalan Festival. You will attend a parade with the castellers, gegants and bastoners. Exhibitions by groups and Devils of the Onyar will also be on the program.

Flamenco

The Flamenco festival, "Ascension Flamenca Expositions", organizes a parade of horses, musical entertainment, a recital by Pedro Soler, strolls of Sevillanas, a local market and many shows.

Summer

The summer period is punctuated by many events. Stroll through the flea markets and garage sales organized during the months of July and August. An outdoor cinema is also installed in Banyuls-sur-Mer.
